Appointments

Making an Appointment

To begin counselling can be quite a daunting prospect, especially when you may be feeling full of tension, anxiety, fear or any number of other confusing emotions.  If you are unsure about what to do next or have any questions or queries about making an appointment, now is the best time to resolve them. Perhaps taking a look at my FAQ Page will help or you can contact me and I will do my best to answer your concerns.

The first step towards an appointment with me will be to arrange a free, confidential no obligation talk, either by phone or face to face, where you can explain more about your current situation. I can give you some indications of how I will be able to help you and you will then be in a better place to decide if I am the right counsellor for you. From here we arrange the venue and time of your first counselling session.

I offer daytime and some evening sessions and so can be flexible to fit in with your other commitments.

Cost

Fees for each 1 hour consultation are:

Individuals – £45        Couples – £60

Please ask me if you would like counselling but feel that the fees are prohibitive, as there may be ways we can make things affordable for you. Some low–cost and concessionary rate appointments are available for those on a low income or receiving benefits and for counselling students.
